I’ve been complaining that for half a year, this title has been relegated to telling extremely peripheral, generally heartwarming Spider-Man stories. They’ve been fine, but we already have a series for that: Spider-Man’s Tangled Web. We really don’t need two.
On the other hand, this is a really fun, sweet issue. He has to make his way across town to shovel Aunt May’s driveway. He finds himself repeatedly slipping on icy surfaces, getting attacked by kids with snowballs, happening to interrupt Vulture mid-heist, etc. Human Torch even shows up.
Aunt May hits him in the face in the end.
