I liked D.G. Chichester’s last run on Daredevil, but this issue is very hard to follow.
It takes place at several different points in time and involves Kingpin, who is still in hiding in Japan, framing a muslim for poisoning New York City’s water supply.
The story is told through different points of view, all of which seem to have biases and fictions around them.
Plus there’s an alternate version of the story where Kingpin and Bullseye die.
I appreciate Chichester trying to make a complicated story work and conclude not just a single issue but a long-running series. The fact that it is too compressed, making it hard to follow, is disappointing. But I applaud the art of it all. This issue is a good read, but takes effort.
From here, Marvel launches a Marvel Knights version of Daredevil.
