Remember the Legacy Virus? With all the various subplots and storylines and threats and twists and turns, you might have forgotten that it’s still a thing.
In this issue, Beast finds the cure. Only problem is, it kills you after it cures you.
Colossus takes the cure anyway, and dies. Intentionally. Because his little sister Illyana died from the virus, so for some weird reason he thinks he has to die, too.
Colossus is an important and beloved character. This suicide is nonsensical, stupid, and insulting.
