In an attempt to shake his lizard-side, Connors uses his technology on an actual iguana, who mutates into a humanoid monster with Connors’ own memories.
Most Lizard stories are pretty much the same. Dr. Connors tragically transforms. His family is endangered. Spider-Man cures him. He is sad.
This is not a bad version of that familiar tale, with the twist of Iguana.
