We close out 1991 with a Night Thrasher story, in which he investigates Andrew Chord and the Taylor Foundation, and finds what he believes to be corruption, so Chord recruits the New Warriors to protect him from their own member. But they don’t want to fight amongst themselves–which is a nice touch, since it’s usually pretty easy to get Marvel heroes to fight each other–and in the end, Chord kills himself.
Wow. Only, he’s not really dead of course.
Before all that, the team goest looking into what’s happened to the other members of Psionex, the mutates created by The Night Warriors’ corporate foe.
One of them, Pretty Persuasions, has become a stripper so Nova feels the need to hit on her.
