The young Inhuman exchange students arrive on Earth and face conflict from humans, who quickly swindle Alaris out of the money given to the kids to help them get used to life on Earth. Jolen tracks down the con artists…And kills them.
That’s a brutal way to go, and I’m sure it won’t lead to good things for this “exchange program.”
At the same time, the Inhumans fight amongst each other for various “teenager” type reasons.
I continue to like this book. Good pacing, good characters, solid plot.
