For some reason, Hellcat’s cloak–which she got from Devil Slayer–is a portal to a dimension where Man-Wolf is trapped. I’m pretty sure it’s the Microverse. The story ends with Man-Wolf back on Earth.
I have to confess, I didn’t like this well enough to read it carefully.
