There are trolls on Genosha. Yes, trolls. And not the cute kind. They’re led by a dude named Stripmine who has “nannites” that can de-power mutants. He captures X, Magneto, and most of this new, motley Excalibur crew.
Dark Beast–I guess he’s still around–is behind it all.
The heroes get free and imprison the bad guys, which means they need to form a government now.
I don’t really have anything bad (or good) to say about these issues. They’re fine. I like the idea of Xavier and Magneto, after all their years of debates and battles, working together to form the utopian society they’ve fought for all these years. I don’t like many of these fringe-y characters, though, and the story kind of plods along. And Callisto has tentacles, which is annoying.
