It’s a little confusing whether this is a standalone one-shot or the annual for the series but in the end it probably doesn’t matter. In fact, you could say that about the issue itself–not just the title.
Right about now, Marvel is moving into all-Deadpool all-the-time territory. In the early 2010s he would have multiple ongoing series plus miniseries plus guest appearances, etc. We’re not quite there, but we’re close. And most of that oversaturation will look like this one shot, where Deadpool makes bad jokes, kills a bunch of people, and generally provides a pointless, barely diverting 30 pages of content.
