Chichester makes a “break” from the Frank Miller days by not playing with any of the toys Mr. Miller created. No Hand. No Karen Page. Just The Owl and some mob stuff.
Fairly sure that panel above is directed squarely at Frank.
Owl is now doing a Wolverine impression.
He gets body armor that gives him the ability to walk (he lost the use of his legs many years ago, talons, and goggles that give him owl-like night-vision.
That’s really about it. Not a bad story, but not memorable.
