Frank Miller introduces Elektra, and 13 year old boys around the country start looking for sais. This is a chapter in Elektra story that is one of the best Frank Miller stories of all time.
The issue starts in a really cool way:
That’s Turk, pretending to be blind, and Daredevil, the blind hero, beating the crap out of him on the next page.
This is the first shot of Elektra:
We get the whole backstory of her father being an ambassador and Matt Murdock saving them from a hostage situation, years before he ever became Daredevil. Including a flashback to the first time he met her.
It was love at first “sight.”
Most of the tale is a flashback to the first time they met, spliced with scenes of Elektra beating up hoods on the streets of New York, searching for a criminal she’s been paid to find, and then Daredevil beating up hoods trying to find her. In the end, Elektra is captured and Daredevil rescues her.
And she knows his secret.
This is a chapter in Elektra story that is one of the best Frank Miller stories of all time and the second best Daredevil story of all time (full list here).
