Character: Nova (Richard Rider)

Marv Wolfman wanted to launch a new character with the same approach Stan Lee used when he created Spider-Man: A teen with a full life and a big cast of extras (above).  Nova is a member of the Nova Corps, Xandar’s military force and has been associated with The New Warriors.  His powers stem from accessing the Nova Force, which is kinda like the Power cosmic.
