Moon Knight #13 (2007)

I liked Charlie Huston’s run. It ends too soon with this one-shot Initiative crossover.

Someone is branding criminals with a crescent, while Marc Spector is putting all his Moon Knight gear into storage.

Across the issue, Marc struggles about not registering under the Registration Act and giving up being a hero.

He’s even examined by a government profiler, where his former use of powers in the awful West Coast Avengers book is explained.

Khonshu pushes him to continue his work.

And Moon Knight brands people on the forehead with a crescent.

This might have been an interesting direction for the book to go, but I’m assuming the new creative team next issue will want to go their own way.
