Wolverine hunts down a rogue Hydra operative who infects Wolverine with nanites that can remove his adamantium by tricking his healing factor into thinking the adamantium is a virus.
He outsmarts the nanites by stabbing himself in the head, forcing his healing factor to redirect to his head injury long enough that the nanites die off in his bloodstream.
Cool.
I mean, there’s more to the story than that, but that’s the most badass part.
