The idea of a group of mutants saving mutants and tricking bigots into paying them to do it is an odd one, and in these issues it gets even weirder–but better. X-Factor creates a “spin-off” group in which Iceman, Angel and Cyclops pretend to be in a group called The X-Terminators to try to gain sympathy and balance growing protests against the very existence of X-Factor.
The lore is starting to get pretty complicated.
The two mutants targeted are called Bulk and Glowworm. They only appear one more time, in an annual, so I’m not tagging them.
These issues also introduce Skids, a hot Morlock who creates a personal forcefield, and news reporter Trish Trilby (no powers, no tag).
