Logan’s Run was a “big studio movie” released in 1976. Entirely forgettable, but very popular at the time. It got a TV show spin off, and Marvel got the comic book rights and created a series that ran for seven issues. They’re not canon.
But oddly enough, issue #6 had a canon back-up story about Thanos with art by the great Mike Zeck.
It was the first solo story for Thanos, and the behind-the-scenes story is here.
The story itself is short, with Drax attacking Thanos and no clear victory for either of them.
This is in my Mike Zeck top 10 list, which will be published on his birthday in September 2021.
