It’s her first day at her new job, and Jennifer has her day in court. On day one? Wow.
One of the new challenges is that her employer does not want her showing up big and green, so she has to be in more vulnerable, pink flesh form. I like this because we all feel so exposed on the first day of work–and most litigators feel exposed in court, too, even if their pretty seasoned.
But She-Hulk–the lawyer who is supposed to follow the rules–cheats. Scarlet Witch casts a cloaking spell so that she can be big and green but look like she’s in her unenhanced body.
At the law fim, she sees Doctor Strange getting legal advice, finds out that they represent a race of bird-people, and we meet one of the best parts of Dan Slott’s series…
…Awesome Andy!
For the main story, She-Hulk represents Dan Jermain (a.k.a. “Danger Man”), who was exposed to radioactivity while working for Roxxon. Even though the accident made him superhuman, he sues the company after his inability to control his super-powers cause damage and injury to his family.
She Hulk wins him an $85 million verdict. To win the case, she reads comic books…
…that serve as legal precedent. (The law librarian is a fanboy nerd!)
So much fun. So awesome.
