Series: Jungle Action (1972-1976)

Launched to reprint Ka-Zar stories, with issue #6, Don McGregor and Billy Graham began their legendary run that established Black Panther as a character with depth and weight–not just a “token.”  The stories were based entirely in Africa, and were cut short mid-story when Jack Kirby returned to Marvel and demanded control of the character he created.
