This issue is an informal tie-in with the Enemy of the State story.

Still in the thrall of The Hand, Wolverine crashes an X-Jet into the mansion and there’s a kerfuffle as ninjas kidnap Northstar.
So, plot-wise, there’s nothing new here—it’s just more detail on what we already saw in Enemy of the State, and it’s told from the New Mutant perspective. But as always the issues read very well, and there are many nice personal moments sprinkled throughout.
