Matt defends the West Memphis Three! OK, not really. But sorta. He goes to Alabama to defend three kids accused of Satanic ritualistic murder.
It’s a Matt Murdock adventure. He barely wears the red suit. And unlike a few other stories featuring plain-clothes Murdock, he also barely ever uses his fists. He uses the law (and cheats in court by “reading” heartbeats) and detective work to uncover the truth of the killings.
It’s really good, and really unpredictable. So much so that I’m not going to spoil it for you here. Nothing here “matters” in the larger 616, although it does reference Brian Michael Bendis’ run for continuity.
