He is a credited creator of dozens of well-known teams and characters, as well as extended, character defining runs.  Some of his best ideas and work include creating Stephanie Brown and the Birds of Prey; his 100-issue run on Robin (Tim Drake version) and his 70-issue run on Nightwing; Batgirl: Year One; Marvel Knights #1-15; and, of course, writing many issues of Batman: Knightfall, the massive story arc that created Bane
