This is Geoff Johns’ first great issue of his run. The ones before were good, but not this good. And *surprise* it’s about Jack of Hearts–the world’s most lame Avenger.
The issue is basically two studies of two characters who don’t get a lot of facetime.
Jack of Hearts’ powers are beyond his control so he has to stay alone in a “zero room,” and it appears to be making him go a little nuts.
Meanwhile, Scott Lang loses custody of Cassie due to his being away all the time (‘cause he’s an Avenger in his alter-ego).
So they are both lonely.
I’m being funny, but it’s a solid story, told well.
