If you were longing for a Dazzler comic that was three-times the size of a regular comic, this is your jam.
Jim Shooter’s dream was to push a Marvel movie, and he only got to do it as a graphic novel. Unfortunately, Frank Springer draws it, and it basically reads like a long issue of Dazzler. A guy likes her so much he buys the club where she teaches aerobics, there’s some mutant hate, another guy loves Dazz so much he offers to put her in a movie, so of course she falls in love with him because she’s always been a bit of a gold-digger, etc. etc.
The X-Men make a brief appearance to do nothing of significance.
