A) Jim Shooter is/was a very talented douchebag. Talented, but a douchebag. B) I nevertheless must agree with the consensus- McFarlane draws his characters with out-of-proportion body parts, but my assumption has always been that he did it on purpose, as a deliberate departure from the realistic-style which characterized the Seventies. I don’t believe the “cartoony” look has a place in today’s DC or Marvel Comics, but Todd McFarlane apparently disagreed. But at least he’s not a douchebag.
