X-Statix #26 (2004): Series ends

After achieving something close to legitimacy in the last big story, where Captain America proclaimed the team trustworthy and responsible, X-Statix decides they don’t want be part of the superhero establishment and call it quits.  In this final issue, they have a party and one last final mission.

On the last page, the team decides to teleport away, and they literally leave us, the readers, in a series with no cast members.
