I think of JM DeMatteis as a great writer of solo acts, like Spider-Man and Batman. I wouldn’t have pegged him to write X-Factor.

But the significant part of this annual is that we learn Haven doesn’t actually have powers–she is pregnant, and her child gives her power.
She’s actually more of a host body–the fetus insider her, which she says was gestating for years, will end up being Adversary.
