Starjammers #1-6 (2004)

I’m just gonna warn you: If you’re a huge fan of this band of space pirates, this post is going to disappoint you.  It’s going to be very brief because I only skimmed these issues.  I’m not a fan, generally, of space epics and I’m not a fan, specifically, of the Starjammers.  It’s mostly because nothing about them feels particularly interesting or unique—they’re all similar to lots of other genre books I’ve read.  And Scott “Cyclops” Summers’ daddy, Corsair, isn’t even in this story—for reasons that are unclear.

That said, there’s nothing particularly wrong or bad about this miniseries.  It is what it is.

The team gets involved in another planet’s uprisings and politics, shoot a lot of people, and then are hailed as heroes.

The end.
