It’s a three-issue run by Simon Furman. Shulk has some courtroom drama, takes on Lightmaster, Plantman, Death’s Head, demons who have mad crushes on her, etc., while teaming up with Hercules, Thor, Excalibur, and others.
It’s bad comics.
Furman seems to be trying to recapture the spirit Byrne had when he created this book, which was to focus on D-list villains with a humorous angle, but the books just aren’t that good.
“But why?” indeed. there is no reason for this comic.
At least the covers are okay.
And Byrne will be returning soon.
