ROM is in outer space, so he can basically have freak-of-the-month stories. They’re not great, but they’re not bad.
This book continues to be much, much better than a toy-spin-off book ever should be. I can say the same only for one other tie-in book: Larry Hama’s 1980s run on GI Joe. That was a good book.
Micronauts had some strong issues, but overall it was pretty bland—and its best stories involved tie-ins to the larger Marvel Universe. Hama never had to do that for GI Joe.
Anyway, Jim Starlin did the cover for #67.
