Family drama. Richard Rider’s dad is in trouble with a group of criminals called The Inner Circle. Richard suspects something is wrong, so he turns into Nova and follows him. But Richard’s brother, Robbie, suspects something is wrong with Richard, so he follows Richard. You following all this? (Pun intended.)
Turns out, The Corruptor is behind the Inner Circle thing. Nova gets his father out of the jam he’s in, and his brother sees him do it, so Richard reveals his super identity to his family.
At the very end, we see another hospital patient begin to glow. He will end up being Comet, who debuts in costume next issue, a Golden Age hero brought into the 616 by this series.
