A villain named Meru uses a strange mind-based power to turn Thor into a jellyfish, and make Valkyrie kinda bad so she punches Thor with the best sound effect ever. Then Thor and Valkyrie make out, and then Spider-Man shakes them loose from the villain’s thrall.
Not this magazine’s finest hour, but also not its worst.
