A space parasite causes Earth-bound mutations. Franklin destroys it with a mere thought. He is clearly an immensely powerful mutant, and his parents, after seeing what he did, say (again) that “something must be done.”
This is not a good comic. But it does have the best Thing panel in 100 issues.
