This is a perfect 1970s comic. It starts with heroes being assembled, and has a situation comedy style opening-where’s Silver Surfer? Here he is!
Fantastic.
So, the team that isn’t a team goes after Necrodamus, and works out their shared misunderstandings. One question, though, about their travel arrangements:
Is Strange enabling Hulk to fly, or is Hulk giving him a piggy back ride?
And of course we get the great “assemble” panel…
And now that that’s over, we have a team.
So we can set up the next storyline: Now that they’ve found Silver Surfer, they’re going to help him leave Earth.
