CREATURES ON THE LOOSE FEATURING MAN-WOLF #32-33 (1974)

Man Wolf’s daddy, J. Jonah Jameson, continues to hide evidence of his monstrosity.

As an agent of ironic justice, Kraven is hired to kidnap both John and JJJ, and then force JJJ to hunt his son.

Man-Wolf is in an alley, looking up at the window of his “when I’m human” girlfriend, when he gets jumped by Kraven the Hunter.

The art is…Simple.

The father vs son fight starts, but Detective Stroud intervenes.

When Man-Wolf transitions back to John Jameson, Stroud arrests him. That’s the cliffhanger.

  1. The artwork of the late, great George Tuska is always welcome to see, and never “simple”, as the author asserts, but I will concede that it IS wasted on this otherwise unnecessary series- and I am usually very gracious, and generous- towards Marvel’s early-to-mid Seventies output!
