Creator: Howard Chaykin

Howard Chaykin is the comic book creator’s comic book creator.  All the greats love and study him.  Writer or artist for many Marvel and DC books, Chaykin created or cocreated American Flagg (one of the earliest indie comic smash hits), Avengers 1959, DC’s first ever miniseries The World of Krypton, the groundbreaking graphic novel Time2, and did pulpy work as creator of Dominic Fortune and the reboot of The Shadow as a contemporary, ultraviolent character.
