Creator: Dave Sim

Legendary creator of Cerebus the Aardvark, one of the most successful self-published comics of all time.  He has drawn a lot of fire over the years for his views on women and Judaism. 

Still, I had a long-running insult-battle with him on the letter pages of his amazing comic (one of my all-time favorite books, ever), and when I met him at a New York Con he was a really, really cool guy.  He’s also a fierce advocate of creators’ rights.

I understand the urge to blackball people with bad politics, but taking him out of the equation, he is artist and writer of unparalleled skill.
