Character: Northstar (Jean-Paul Beaubier)

Aurora’s twin, member of Alpha Flight, and the first Marvel character to come out of the closet, leading fanboys to pore over his prior appearances for clues as to whether he was always written to be a homosexual.

Powers include flight, speed, and generating white light from his body.  Like a star.  Get it?

He quit Alpha Flight for a while to live in Asgard.

Then Wolverine killed him.
