Character: Dire Wraiths

ROM was sent to Earth to rid it of this shape-shifting alien race.  ROM was a toy comic, but there were never toys of Dire Wraiths (because, I assume, they’re pretty horrific looking)–and the aliens stayed Marvel property after they let the ROM license lapse.

Variants included a wizard sect of wraiths.
