BULLPEN BULLETINS (1987): Jim Shooter Says Creators Shouldn’t Sue Publishers
A fairly self-serving editorial from a creator who became management.

“…..self-serving”-?? I admire Shooter’s integrity. In the same situation, I am not certain I would have not been able to accept his attorney’s advice. Jim Shooter may not be the nicest guy in the comics field, but he has written some of the most intelligent and influential Marvel and DC Comics ever published, and the guy is a total professional. A million scoots is a nice day’s work, and, as noted, Shooter has not exactly established himself as the nicest guy in the business, anyway. One million scoots- goo-bye!!
