Warlock has been comatose since Infinity Crusade, and Eternity wakes him up by tearing his bones out of his body.
What a dick.
He also gives him a bunch of destiny-type mysteries and helps Warlock come to terms with his Magus (evil) side.
It’s the kind of nebulous, cosmic character work that Jim Starlin does so well.
In the end, Warlock wakes up. Jusst in time for Infinity Crusade.
He should have slept a bit more.
