The art is pretty bad for this story, but the writing is good. Punisher takes on a mentally-ill arsonist whose uncle buys back the torched real estate at rock-bottom prices. Pretty decent business model.
Punisher, of course, does the whole “turnabout is fair play” thing.
There’s more focus on the villains in these issues, and with a fairly one-dimensional character like Punisher, that approach works well.
I’m enjoying Abnett/Lanning’s run on this book.
