Claire Temple left Luke Cage a “Dear John” letter, so Cage and DW Griffith go looking for her and learn she used to be married to…Bill Foster! Foster, who had a few appearances as a side character in The Avengers, took some Pym particles and got stuck at giant size. He can’t shrink back. So naturally, he’s joined a circus.
And of course the only Marvel circus is Ringmaster’s Circus of Crime.
In the background above is a new member, Livewire. He used to work for Psychoman as a henchman, but now he’s a circusmember. Apparently.
Very fun pair of issues, much needed from a series that has been underperforming pretty much every issue.
