It’s time travel, so it’s convoluted. But it’s Dr. Doom time travel, not Kang. So that’s good.
The heroes go back in time to Salem, where Wanda is tried as a witch. And there’s a scene that looks like this:
And the villain is Cotton Mather, so a real-life, old-timey celeb is in it. That’s him, wearing blue, teamed up with a giant wizard who has a mohawk.
The story doesn’t make a lot of sense, but it ends with a depressing picture of a bunch of innocent not-witches being hung and Spider-Man being too late to save them.
But it’s time travel, Spidey. Why don’t you just go back again?
