Gee, I thought MTU was supposed to be light?! I thought it was a way for new creators to take on Spider-Man and someone else and just play with them for an issue? But that splash page is heavy. Whoa.
Other than that, it’s a standard, fun done-in-one with Spidey and Captain America fighting Grey Gargoyle. There’s a neat little sequence of ‘Goyle turning Spider-Man’s webs to stone.
For some reason, Gargoyle looks a lot like J. Jonah Jameson here.
