Beast versus Red Ghost’s Super Apes and Constrictor.
Having Beast meet up with the Super Apes has lots of potential, but this story is slap-dash and boring.
And the jokes are tasteless and stupid.
The story keeps flashing from Beast’s early days in the X-Men and to the present. We learn that Xavier mindwiped Beast’s memory of an ex-girlfirend and this helped shape his “nobody loves me” identity. So, naturally, he’s mad at his old team.
We’re shown that the woman was why Beast left the X-Men.
The story has Beast reunite with her, briefly.
