Eventually, they catch up to him.
During the battle, Husk gets attacked in mid-shed, leaving her with only half her skin.
Gruesome.
Synch is defeated when he tries to absorb Monet’s power and learns her secret.
We, the readers, still don’t know it.
Then at the end of the issue, X-Cutioner shows up as a prelude to the next story.
This issue is more straightforward than the others in this series. It’s nice to have a standard superhero tale with fights and all, and there is more than enough intrigue to keep this book well above the others coming out in 1996.
