This issue starts with Daredevil saving Foggy from an assassin. During the fight, the assassin falls out a window and off a building. A favorite method for Daredevil to take people out.
Then…
Bullseye takes out Daredevil with a paper airplane but instead of killing him…
Bullseye is still doing the death-trap thing. He’s still kind of silly, but even corny Bullseye is fun.
And then the Bullseye story goes right into a Cobra/Hyde story, with another deathtrap.
Kinda seems like an old James Bond movie or the Adam West Batman show.
Also, Nova stops by to save Daredevil from certain death. By coincidence (not), Marv Wolfman writes the new Nova solo book.
There’s also a story developing about Matt’s new girlfriend, Heather Glenn, whose father is involved in corporate misdeeds.
Creator credits are: Jim Shooter (#141), Marv Wolfman (#142-143), Bob Brown
Mr. Hyde scares me, even worse than his partner the Cobra. The Cobra, despite his namesake and tactics, is just a typical crook trying to use his gimmick to get rich. Mr. Hyde, on the other hand, is just pure evil, like the late, un-lamented Death-Stalker, and supervillain numero uno Count Dracula. A fearsome trio, indeed. Unfortunately, I have actually known a couple or three people in my time who were, and are, as sinister, and as fearsome, as the diabolical Mr. Hyde. If there is a God, these so-called “people” will remain forever in my past. Word up!!
