The guy so talented, DC hired him to take on the X-Men, head-to-head, with a reboot of The Teen Titans, and then gave him responsibility for retooling their entire universe with Crisis on Infinite Earths.  Responsible for legendary runs on Tomb of Dracula and Spider-Man (where he had Spidey meet the burglar who killed Uncle Ben), turning Tim Drake into Robin and Robin into Nightwing, and creating some of the most lasting characters of the ’80s, like: The Omega Men, Black Cat, Nova, Bullseye, Chemistro, Terrax, and many more.
