While vacationing in Europe, Dagger joined the circus. This should be an opportunity to bring in the Circus of Crime but…No luck. So who does show up? Well, it’s Europe so…Dr. Doom!
This book continues to be bad. And you can’t say Marvel didn’t try: Art Adams(!) does the pencils on issue #10, with inks by the great Terry Austin! Sadly, the issue with the most Doom in it is #11 and he’s off by then.
What’s really annoying is that Cloak’s Limbo dimension appears to be the same one that Dr. Doom’s mother was consigned to many years ago–a fact that makes no sense. There’s never been any indication that Satan or Mephisto (one or both of which own her soul) has anything to do with Cloak.
Dagger’s shirt is a shout-out to an indie comic…
