Colossus goes back to Russia to visit his family, including Illyana–who is a still a little kid when this takes place–and gets thrown in jail as a deserter from the Soviet army.
We also see Colonel Vazhin, the Soviet version of Nick Fury. This is probably his earliest chronological appearance.
